Frankie Bridge<\/a> has opened up about how much fashion influences her life choices and that she is no longer dressing for \u2018the male gaze\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Loose Women<\/a> panelist, 37, said in an exclusive chat with the Mail that being in girl band The Saturday\u2019s majorly impacted her style.<\/p>\n

Frankie – who rose to fame as a member of S Club Juniors when she was aged just 12 \u2013 said: \u2018I feel like as women, our style changes a lot over the years, depending on what’s needed of us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I have been in two bands, and both times have been at real pivotal parts of my life. S Club Juniors, I was so young and able to have fun with my style.<\/p>\n

\u2018In The Saturdays<\/a>, that was a real learning curve; I went from 18 to being in my 20s. There are some real clangers in there.<\/p>\n

\u2018That was more about being sexy and fitting together with four other girls. Now I get to dress for myself. It’s no longer about the male gaze or fitting in.<\/p>\n

The Saturdays singer,\u00a0who founded her fashion business Faves, a style platform curating high street edits, is\u00a0hosting her first event with the hope of making Fashion week ‘more accessible’<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve had years to experiment, and now I am able to know what makes me feel confident. I also dress for two different lives, work and home life. The two are very different, and I love that.\u2019<\/p>\n

Frankie, who founded her fashion business Faves, a style platform curating high street edits, is bringing London Fashion Week to the public for the first time.<\/p>\n

She is hosting her first event, on Saturday February 21 in partnership with LOOKFANTASTIC and other high-street brands, with the hope of making Fashion Week accessible.<\/p>\n

She told the Mail: \u2018Faves came from years of people asking me where my outfits were from and how I styled certain pieces.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve always loved finding pieces that feel elevated and stylish but still wearable. I know how overwhelming shopping can feel, especially when you\u2019re trying to find your style, so I wanted to create something that felt accessible and curated – like I\u2019d done the scrolling for you already. Fashion can feel daunting, Faves takes that away.<\/p>\n

\u2018We want women to feel empowered and confident. By creating a community, it’s also about being able to find like-minded people.<\/p>\n

\u2018I want Faves to continue growing as a go-to destination for women who want effortless, real-life style inspiration.<\/p>\n

\u2018That could be through more collaborations, exclusive edits, or even designing pieces myself one day.<\/p>\n

The singer and Loose Women panellist shot to fame as a teenager before then joining The Saturdays and having huge success (seen centre in S Club Juniors)<\/p>\n

Frankie shares her sons Parker and Carter with her former footballer husband Wayne – who also has a son called Jayden with his ex Vanessa Perroncel\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018But the most important thing is keeping it authentic and genuinely useful. I want it to be a space where women feel inspired and empowered, not intimidated.\u2019<\/p>\n

In 2007 Frankie shot to fame after auditioning and earning a place in girl group the Saturdays, along with Vanessa White, Mollie King, Una Healy and former S Club 8 colleague Rochelle Humes.<\/p>\n

The group split in 2014 after a successful run and ever since, Frankie has used her online platform of 1.5m followers, to share her passion for clothes.<\/p>\n

She married former footballer Wayne Bridge, 45, in 2014 and the couple now share two children, sons Parker and Carter.<\/p>\n

She is also stepmother to his 19-year-old son, Jaydon, from the former footballer’s relationship with French model Vanessa Perroncel, 50.<\/p>\n

Frankie said: \u2018Being in The Saturdays had a huge impact on my style. Fashion was all about experimenting and keeping up with trends.<\/p>\n

\u2018We were constantly styled for performances, red carpets, and shoots – it gave me the freedom to try looks I might have never picked for myself and really pushed me out of my comfort zone to find my own personal style.<\/p>\n

\u2018My approach to fashion now is very different. I base my outfits on how I\u2019m feeling that day and always want to look put together.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve learned it\u2019s more about making small swaps, redefining what works for you in your wardrobe, rather than starting from scratch. Comfort and confidence are what really matter – and that\u2019s exactly why I created Faves.<\/p>\n
