Police have launched an investigation after an 18-year-old man was stabbed during a robbery. Merseyside Police were called to Besford Road in Belle Vale at around 6.30pm on Thursday, February 19, following reports the teenager had been attacked while riding his bike.<\/p>\n
It is believed the victim had been cycling along the Loop Line, known locally as the Ralla, when he was approached and assaulted<\/a> by another male. During the incident, he suffered a puncture wound to his back.<\/p>\n The electric bike was reportedly stolen during the attack.<\/p>\n The teenager was taken to hospital<\/a> for treatment. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n Pictures taken at the scene show a significant police presence outside the Morrisons <\/a>store on Besford Road, which is located just a short walk from the Loop Line.
