Hailing from <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/apple-original-films\/\" id=\"auto-tag_apple-original-films\" data-tag=\"apple-original-films\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apple Original Films<\/a> and made in partnership with Studiocanal, the dream-like story follows a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. Patricia Clarkson is also on board.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tScorsese will direct and produce for Sikelia Productions. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Peter Cameron, the script is written by\u00a0Patrick Marber.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMikkelsen will play Brother Emmanuel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film marks the latest collaboration for Scorsese, DiCaprio and Apple Original Films following the 10-time Oscar-nominated Killers of the Flower\u00a0Moon. Lawrence has collaborated with Apple Original Films on projects including\u00a0Causeway\u00a0and\u00a0Bread &amp; Roses, along with the upcoming\u00a0murder mystery feature\u00a0The Wives\u00a0in which she is set to star and produce.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMikkelsen is known for films such as\u00a0Another Round\u00a0(2020) which won the Academy Award for Best International Feature, The Hunt,\u00a0Casino Royale,\u00a0Doctor Strange and\u00a0Riders of Justice, as well as his iconic role in the TV series\u00a0Hannibal. Other recent projects include\u00a0Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,\u00a0Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,\u00a0The Promised Land, voicing Kiros in Disney\u2019s\u00a0Mufasa: The Lion King, and\u00a0Dust Bunny.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUpcoming, he will be seen in the dark comedy\u00a0The Last Viking\u00a0and in the action thriller\u00a0Sirius.
