After a few weeks away from it, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn is back on Threads<\/a> and has shot down a bunch of recent rumors regarding upcoming films on the slate.<\/p>\n

First up, a trade report recently listed Gunn\u2019s next film as \u201cSuperman: Man of Tomorrow\u201d as opposed to just \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d which led to plenty of speculation about a title change.<\/p>\n

Gunn has rejected that notion, saying the trade simply made a mistake and \u201cI try to avoid the colons\u201d in his movie titles. He also reminds fans that the project is \u201cnot just a Superman movie\u201d.<\/p>\n

As for where it stands now, several months out from production, he says: \u201cI\u2019ve already storyboarded almost the entire film. All the real work is now, before starting production. The more I do now, the less I have to do shooting and in post!\u201d<\/p>\n

Next, he denied another report that claimed he was not only waiting for a third Matt Reeves-directed \u201cThe Batman\u201d to be done before moving forward with \u201cThe Brave and the Bold,\u201d but that he was also fast-tracking to get that third film into production.<\/p>\n

Gunn says, \u201cI\u2019m not fast-tracking anything other than our scripts, currently getting ready to go into production.\u201d He also dubbed the reports that he doesn\u2019t want two Batmen on screen at the same time as \u201cincorrect\u201d.<\/p>\n

Finally, the rumors of the Themyscira-set \u201cParadise Lost\u201d being shelved are also not true, Gunn saying: \u201cDefinitely not. Jesus, I go on Threads for the first time in weeks and it\u2019s just one insanely wrong thing after the other. What is going on?\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Warner Bros.
