{"id":438051,"date":"2026-02-21T14:28:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-21T14:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/438051\/"},"modified":"2026-02-21T14:28:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T14:28:07","slug":"water-disruption-may-last-several-days-after-river-diesel-spillage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/438051\/","title":{"rendered":"Water disruption may last &#8216;several days&#8217; after river diesel spillage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A spokesperson for Certas Energy, which operates the GULF Lix Toll site at Killin, said they were informed of a &#8220;fuel loss&#8221; on Friday morning following an &#8220;attempted theft which damaged one of our fuel tanks&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Equipment was found on site that suggested there was an attempt to steal diesel from the tank,&#8221; they added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The spokesperson said they were &#8220;as concerned as everyone else&#8221; and that dealing with the impact of the incident was their &#8220;priority&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We are now investigating to fully understand what happened, are engaging with the police, Sepa, the Health and Safety Executive and other specialists at the site.
