Albion started well before falling behind to a dreadful goal – before Jack Rudoni smashed in a second goal.<\/p>\n

The Baggies<\/a> didn’t capitulate as they have done in recent weeks – and had the odd chance.<\/p>\n

But it is now eight games without a win for Ramsay since he took over. Here is a look at three things you may have missed<\/p>\n

Lucky Coventry<\/p>\n

That headline isn’t related to the scoreline – they deserved to win the game.<\/p>\n

But they were lucky to stay with ten men on the field.<\/p>\n

Frank Onyeka put in a tackle on Isaac Price and it was a nasty one. If it is in the Premier League, VAR calls that back and he is sent off.<\/p>\n

It matters for nothing now, because Coventry did enough to go on and win the game, but it could have had a big say.<\/p>\n

Chants – Mason all over again<\/p>\n

It took a lot more games for fans turn on Ryan Mason – but it has taken eight for the whole of The Hawthorns to be chanting against Ramsay.<\/p>\n

‘Sacked in the morning’ and comments about the style of play were directed at Ramsay <\/a>throughout the game.<\/p>\n

It took probably three or four months for the fans to start that with Mason – but to be honest we’ve heard it towards Ramsay already, before today.<\/p>\n

It was louder than ever in this game. The only way they go away is by winning games – and you can’t see that happening at the moment.<\/p>\n

Walsall away jibs<\/p>\n

There have been moments in the season where Albion fans have been feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and just sadness at what has happened.<\/p>\n

And there was one moment in the second half where Coventry fans were subjecting them to a chant that kind of summed up just how low Albion have dropped this season.<\/p>\n

Chants of ‘Walsall away’ from Coventry fans to Albion fans just sums up the situation.<\/p>\n

That is no disrespect to Walsall, a great club in their own right. But how has it come to this?<\/p>\n
