Hull KR have announced the immediate signing of Hull FC youngster Cobie Wainhouse.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old joins the Robins on an initial loan until the end of the 2025 season when he will join the club permanently on a two-year deal, ensuring he will be at Craven Park until the end of the 2027 season.<\/p>\n

He has already joined up with KR and trained with Willie Peters\u2019 first-team on Monday ahead of the club\u2019s clash with Castleford Tigers this weekend.<\/p>\n

Wainhouse has been with Hull FC since making the move from Bradford Bulls in 2023 and has been a regular member of the academy and reserves sides ever since. He leaves the MKM Stadium having never made a senior appearance for the club.<\/p>\n

However, he did make his first-team debut last month when he featured for Doncaster on dual reg in the Championship.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll be hoping to build on that experience in the red and white of Hull KR, as he becomes the latest youngster to join the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a really good vibe around the place at the minute and I want to be a part of it,\u201d Wainhouse said<\/a> after agreeing to make the switch across Hull.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to getting around the lads and learning from everybody, and being around a winning mentality, which will be good for me. I can\u2019t wait to get stuck into training with the lads.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the signing of the prop, who can play at loose-forward and played his junior rugby with East Leeds, head coach Peters added: \u201cWe\u2019re pleased Cobie has signed with Hull KR. Cobie is a young front-rower with plenty of potential, and we\u2019re happy to have him on board at the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cCobie\u2019s best rugby is still ahead of him. We\u2019re looking forward to seeing him develop within our pack over the next few seasons and push to become a Super League player at Hull KR.\u201d<\/p>\n
