Now, she\u2019s sharing a simple eight-minute, three-move workout routine to \u201cboost your metabolism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is something that\u2019s so important for more than weight management; your metabolism also helps with energy, muscle mass, and overall health. The fitness pro demonstrated the moves in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DU6UT0GkuR2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Instagram video;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">Instagram video<\/a>, which focuses on simple, low-impact exercises that are designed to work on cardio and strengthening muscles without any equipment. Best of all? This routine can be done right in the middle of your kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis workout packs a punch with some cardio and some head-to-toe toning. \ud83d\udcaa it\u2019s the ultimate fat-blasting combo \ud83d\ude80 Best part? You can do this routine anywhere since no equipment is needed. These eight minutes boost your metabolism and definitely give you some ENERGY!!! I promise you will feel so AWESOME!!!!\u201d she captioned the post.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to do each exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Side-to-side punches with toe taps<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first exercise is just to get the body going,\u201d Austin says in the clip, closing her fist and reaching each arm across her body. At the same time, she rises onto the opposite leg so that only the ball of her foot is still on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>This exercise not only gets you warmed up and ready to push a little further, Austin says it also uses \u201call the major muscle groups.\u201d Repeat.<\/p>\n<p>Bicep curl with heel raise<\/p>\n<p>Next, Austin moves on to a bicep curl with a heel raise. Raising her arms up towards her the ceiling and back down again, she moves side-to-side and alternates bending her leg at the knee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA little fat blast really helps to burn calories, firm up muscle. We\u2019re going to sculpt, tone, and burn some calories,\u201d she says. Eventually, she does pointedly pick up the pace with this one, noting that she\u2019s aiming for \u201cheel to buttocks\u201d and encourages people at home to \u201creally feel the back of your thighs\u201d when they do so.<\/p>\n<p>Modified curtsy lunge and tricep kickback<\/p>\n<p>The last exercise Austin demonstrates in her video sees her stepping backwards with alternating legs while bending her forearms down and pushing them back. \u201cMake sure that elbows stay up high,\u201d she advises. \u201cYou\u2019re working the back of your legs and the back of your arms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This one largely targets the tricep area, with an emphasis on trying to \u201cfirm and tone and tighten.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All three of these exercises are perfect for anyone looking to add some cardio to their existing workouts, or diving in with a daily routine for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI promise you will feel so AWESOME!!!!\u201d Austin writes.
