Manchester United chief executive officer Omar Berrada has made his feelings perfectly clear about the Red Devils\u2019 meaningful project under the Ineos reign at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils have been in the United States as part of their pre-season campaign under Ruben Amorim<\/a> ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> signed off their visit to the United States on Sunday by winning the Premier League Summer Series after their three matches in the States.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils were in action at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on the weekend and United and Everton played out an entertaining 2-2<\/a> draw in a friendly in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Omar Berrada<\/a> was in Georgia amid United\u2019s encounter with Everton<\/a> on the pre-season tour and the Red Devils CEO opened up about a \u201creally important milestone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manchester United announced last summer that the Red Devils\u2019 Carrington training complex<\/a> would be undergoing a major refurbishment under the Ineos<\/a> regime.<\/p>\n

The Premier League club teamed up with British architecture firm Foster and Partners as part of a \u00a350m venture to significantly upgrade the Red Devils\u2019 facilities.<\/p>\n

The work at Carrington had been carried out amid the 2024-25 Premier League season and would see a key improvement to the United first-team<\/a> building.<\/p>\n

Omar Berrada predicted that the reopening of the refurbished Carrington complex would \u201cpositively impact the performance of our teams\u201d at the Premier League club.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor sure, it is a really important milestone for us,\u201d he said, as per Manchester United\u2019s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have invested a lot in improving the facilities, it is going to be [the] best in class and really second to none in the world of sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to open it on Friday 8 and we are very proud of what it\u2019s going to look like.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no doubt that it is going to positively impact the performance of our teams.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said about Ineos\u2019 project for the refurbished Carrington training complex<\/p>\n

Sir Jim Ratcliffe<\/a>, who became co-owner of United after his minority stake purchase in 2023, said that the \u00a350m investment would bring a \u201cworld-class\u201d Carrington.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to create a world-class environment for our teams to win,\u201d he said in June 2024, as per Manchester United\u2019s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we conducted a thorough review of the Carrington training facilities and met our men\u2019s first-team players, it was clear the standards had fallen below some of our peers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 72-year-old Ineos chief added: \u201cThis project will ensure Manchester United\u2019s training ground is once more renovated to the highest standards.\u201d<\/p>\n
