We head to Day 3 of the only ATP 250 event this week, sandwiched between two ATP 500 events, and we\u2019ve certainly had some interesting results already. ATP Santiago Day 3 Predictions
\nCamilo Ugo Carabelli vs Yannick Hanfmann<\/p>\n
Head-to-head: first meeting<\/p>\n
Ugo Carabelli comes into this one with a fair amount of clay court matches already under his belt. He\u2019s won a handful of them as well and should be feeling fairly confident. Hanfmann has settled into the tournament nicely, dispatching Lajovic easily in his first outing. This match should be more of a contest, but one I still think he wins.<\/p>\n
Prediction: Hanfmann in 3<\/p>\n
Dino Prizmic vs Vilius Gaubas<\/p>\n
Head-to-head: Prizmic 1-0 Gaubas<\/p>\n
Both come into this in good clay court form. Prizmic won their only previous meeting, but that was about a year ago and on a hard court. It does feel, though, that right now, Prizmic has more going for him, which tends to be the difference in matches like these. It feels like his match to lose.<\/p>\n
Prediction: Prizmic in 2<\/p>\n
Francisco Comesana vs Andrea Pellegrino<\/p>\n
Head-to-head: Comesana 3-0 Pellegrino<\/p>\n
Comesana\u2019s recent form has been sketchy. Having said that, Pellegrino\u2019s form isn\u2019t much better, and he has also never taken a set off the Argentine in their previous meetings. It still feels like a match that Comesana wins, but maybe not quite as straightforward as previous editions.<\/p>\n

Mariano Navone vs Luciano Darderi<\/p>\n
Head-to-head: Navone 4-3 Darderi<\/p>\n
Both players should know enough about each other\u2019s game styles, having faced each other plenty of times, with every one of those matches bar one played on clay. Navone just about edges out the head-to-head; however, the last of these matches was played in 2024, and Darderi is clearly the superior player now. Navone has also won only one completed match all year, having played as few as seven matches.<\/p>\n
