Hoops’ fan Alan Brazil has claimed to be in the know about O’Neill’s anger behind the scenes<\/p>\n

Celtic diehard Alan Brazil has revealed there have been murmurs that Martin O’Neill<\/a> is “raging” with the board following the winter transfer window.<\/p>\n

The Parkhead icon is looking to get the Hoops’ season back with a morale-boosting performance in the Europa League against Stuttgart on Thursday night. Celtic<\/a> trail 4-1 from the first leg, and followed last Thursday’s disappointing display against the Bundesliga side up with defeat to Hibs in the Premiership.<\/p>\n

It leaves the defending Scottish champions on the back foot domestically, as they trail league leaders Hearts by six points. Furthermore, they are two points behind rivals Rangers before they make the trip to Ibrox this weekend.<\/p>\n

Brazil has claimed that frustrations have been bubbling under the surface for O’Neill since the end of the window. On deadline day, Celtic snapped up Junior Adamu, Joel Mvuka and Benjamin Arthur on loan deals.<\/p>\n

Following his arrival from SC Freiburg, Adamu burst onto the scene at Celtic Park with a goal on his debut against Dundee. Since then, Adamu has yet to score another goal and O’Neill has kept the frontman on the bench for the last two games.<\/p>\n

Lorient loanee Mvuka has made just one appearance since his arrival, while Brentford prospect Arthur made his Celtic debut in the defeat to Hibs. With Auston Trusty suspended for the upcoming derby day clash<\/a>, the 20-year-old is expected to start this weekend’s crucial game.<\/p>\n

Speaking on talkSPORT, Brazil <\/a>has claimed that O’Neill has been left unhappy with the trio of deals – with the 73-year-old hoping for permanent additions to bolster their club’s title hopes.<\/p>\n

The Hoops’ fan reckons the decision to only bring in loanees could cost the club their Premiership crown.<\/p>\n

He said: “There is a big row at Celtic going on at the minute, we are not spending crazy money. Celtic have a habit of doing that, [saying] ‘we have got enough just to get by to win trophies’. But, the fans want more. I’m told Martin is raging with the transfers. They got three on loan, he didn’t want that, I believe. He wanted to buy some players, and it’s going to cost them probably.”<\/p>\n
