{"id":446591,"date":"2026-02-26T11:53:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T11:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/446591\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T11:53:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T11:53:11","slug":"making-an-entrance-nasa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/446591\/","title":{"rendered":"Making an Entrance &#8211; NASA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NASA astronaut Jack Hathaway smiles up at the camera as he enters the International Space Station Feb. 14, 2026, after docking to the orbiting laboratory aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.<\/p>\n<p>Since Hathaway and fellow Crew-12 members Jessica Meir of NASA, Sophie Adenot of ESA (European Space Agency), and Andrey Fedyaev of Roscosmos began their mission on the space station, they have conducted science investigations including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/blogs\/spacestation\/2026\/02\/18\/new-expedition-74-foursome-kicks-off-science-gets-used-to-space\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">scanning their veins<\/a> to monitor the risk of blood clots and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/blogs\/spacestation\/2026\/02\/19\/thursday-packed-with-human-research-as-stations-orbit-is-boosted\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">testing balance and orientation<\/a> in space using virtual reality goggles.
