Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira responds to transfer speculation linking Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson with summer moves to Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> prioritised targets with Premier League<\/a> experience last summer, as seen with deals involving Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window, United are being linked with more players in the Premier League \u2013 from Crystal Palace\u2019s Adam Wharton<\/a> to Brighton\u2019s Carlos Baleba<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Transfer talk is constant for a club like United.<\/p>\n

Anderson has been a primary target<\/a> for United throughout the season, but the 23-year-old midfielder has yet to make a decision over his future ahead of a busy summer for Forest.<\/p>\n

It was also reported recently that United were eyeing a move for Gibbs-White<\/a>, a year on from Tottenham\u2019s failed attempt to sign the 26-year-old.<\/p>\n

Forest could struggle to keep their best players if they suffer relegation back to the Championship.<\/p>\n

When asked about United becoming the latest club to be considering a summer move for Gibbs-White, Pereira stressed that the forward, along with Anderson, was focused on Forest.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not hearing this,\u201d Pereira said, as quoted by the Nottingham Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day is work. I feel they are very committed to our target, which is the most important thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe [Gibbs-White] is a top player, a captain; a top player with spirit. Elliot is the same \u2013 a top player with spirit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I accepted the job, because I have very good players. We need to prove \u2013 every day with our work and on the pitch \u2013 we don\u2019t just have talent in the team but we can also create a strong team together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perhaps fittingly, given the line of questioning, Pereira was joined by Anderson in a joint press conference ahead of Forest\u2019s Europa League play-off second leg against Fenerbahce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just focusing on my football at the moment and performing and trying to give everything to Nottingham Forest,\u201d Anderson added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s all that\u2019s on my mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a big two years [at Forest]. I think I\u2019ve done really well, to be honest, in the time I\u2019ve been here.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve matured on and off the pitch. It\u2019s thanks to the club for giving me that platform to go out there and play and let me do my stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
