Experience a new cycle of death with the\u00a0red band trailer for Faces of Death, a meta horror remake of the notorious 1978 faux documentary.<\/p>\n

Independent Film Company and Shudder will release the film opens in theaters on April 10, marking IFC\u2019s widest release to date.<\/p>\n

Continuing the exploration of the original film\u2019s infamous \u2018Is it real or not?\u2019 conceit, the reboot follows a woman working as a content moderator for a major video platform who discovers what appears to be re-enactments of murders from Faces of Death.<\/p>\n

In an online world where nothing can be trusted, she must determine whether the violence is fiction or unfolding in real time.<\/p>\n

Barbie Ferreira (\u201cEuphoria\u201d), Dacre Montgomery (\u201cStranger Things\u201d), Josie Totah (\u201cSaved by the Bell\u201d), Aaron Holliday (Cocaine Bear), Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You),\u00a0and pop superstar Charli XCX star.<\/p>\n

Daniel Goldhaber (Cam, How to Blow Up a Pipeline) directs from a script he co-wrote with Isa Mazzei (Cam).<\/p>\n

Legendary Entertainment, Don Murphy & Susan Montford of Angry Films Entertainment, and Adam Hendricks & Greg Gilreath of Divide\/Conquer produce. Mazzei, Derek Bish\u00e9, and Rick Benattar serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n

Filmed back in 2023, Faces of Death is rated R for \u201cstrong bloody violence and gore, sexual content, nudity, language, and drug use.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
