The U.S. State Department earlier authorized nonessential employees at the American Embassy in Israel to leave the country due to \u201csafety risks.\u201d<\/p>\n

U.S. President Donald Trump is currently weighing a military strike on Iran in a bid to stamp out its nuclear program.<\/p>\n

White House officials are\u00a0weighing the options available<\/a>, with Israel seen as a key partner in any military action. <\/p>\n

Trump insisted in his State of the Union address that he wants to figure out a diplomatic solution with the Middle East country.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy preference is to solve this problem through diplomacy, but one thing is certain: I will never allow the world\u2019s No. 1 sponsor of terror \u2014 which they are by far\u2014 to have a nuclear weapon,\u201d\u00a0he said at the State of the Union address Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Keir Starmer’s spokesperson said earlier this week: “There’s a political process ongoing between the U.S. and Iran, which the U.K. supports.
