The HMD Luma arrives with a high refresh rate LCD panel, Unisoc’s T7250 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage. The budget phone also integrates some rarer nice-to-haves, such as a microSD card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, and even an FM radio receiver.<\/p>\n

HMD just listed the Luma<\/a>, a new entry-level 4G handset. Up front, it comes equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution (720 \u00d7 1,604), a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, and 500 nits of peak brightness. <\/p>\n

Powering the phone is a 12 nm Unisoc T7250 chipset<\/a> (2x Cortex A75 at 1.8 GHz, 6x Cortex A55 at 1.8 GHz) paired with 4 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to an additional 1 TB thanks to the microSD card slot.<\/p>\n

The camera system consists of a 50-megapixel sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor, while a 5,000 mAh battery capable of charging at up to 18 W keeps the lights on. However, the device runs the rather-dated Android 15. Other features include a fingerprint sensor embedded into the side power button, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an FM radio receiver.<\/p>\n

The HMD Luma will be offered in two colorways\u2014Titanium and Blue. Pricing and availability are currently unknown, with the handset only being listed on the company’s website in some regions like Nigeria.<\/p>\n
