Michael McIntyre has left plenty of BBC Big Show viewers fuming following his opening joke<\/p>\n

Viewers watching BBC<\/a>‘s Michael McIntyre’s Big Show were left unimpressed just minutes in over a \u201crude\u201d joke.<\/p>\n

On Saturday evening (February 28), BAFTA award-winning comedian Michael<\/a> returned with his unmissable night of family entertainment. During the show, pop star Jade Thirlwall handed over her phone for an ambitious Send to All with a twist, while Love Island<\/a> star Tasha Ghouri <\/a>helped surprise an inspirational Unexpected Star of the Show.<\/p>\n

However, just minutes in viewers were left livid by Michael\u2019s opening joke. He said: \u201cYou\u2019re very lucky to come to this series because I look fabulous don\u2019t I! I\u2019m half the size, have you noticed how much weight I\u2019ve lost. I\u2019m half the person, I\u2019ve gone too far!\u201d<\/p>\n

The BBC show returned to screens<\/p>\n

He went on: \u201cBasically I did do three weeks of cheating. It\u2019s called the fat jab. Basically people are scared of it because it\u2019s a needle but you don\u2019t feel it. Well you don\u2019t, because you\u2019re fat. When you feel it you know you\u2019re done, it\u2019s hit the bone!\u201d<\/p>\n

Michael continued: \u201cAt least I look good with the weight loss because some people lose loads of weight and they don\u2019t look better and you don\u2019t know what to say to them.<\/p>\n

Michael left viewers unimpressed<\/p>\n

\u201cLike some people have a massive nose but you haven\u2019t noticed it because their cheeks are out here. Then the cheeks go in and it\u2019s like where did that come from?!\u2019\u201d What\u2019s more, in another comment that divided fans, Michael described himself as a \u201cfat Chinese man\u201d.<\/p>\n

Not impressed, viewers rushed over to X to hit out at Michael\u2019s opening joke. One person fumed: \u201cThat opening joke routine was all a bit cringe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cVeryy rude I thought, unnecessarily so.\u201d A third chimed in: \u201cWhy is #michaelmcintyresbigshow promoting the fat jab!?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans called out his \u2018rude\u2019 joke online<\/p>\n

It comes after last week, things took an emotional turn leaving a famous footballer fighting back tears. Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy took on the Remember Me segment and the couple was tasked with identifying people from their past whom they haven’t seen in years.<\/p>\n

Everyone from their wedding singer to Peter’s childhood crush made an appearance. But it was the former England footballer’s first professional coach, Barry Quinn, who left him utterly stunned.<\/p>\n

Upon hearing Barry’s voice, Peter immediately became emotional, and Abbey quickly noticed, pointing out, “He’s crying.” Although the sports star didn’t break down into tears, the surprise left him teary-eyed.<\/p>\n
