BBC drama A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is set to make its comeback later this year for a much-awaited second season, with a sneak peek at the compelling new mystery just unveiled.<\/p>\n

Shot in Bristol and featuring Wednesday star Emma Myers as young detective Pip Fitz-Amobi, who delves into the disturbing murder of a local girl as part of her school assignment, the programme became a runaway success following its first season debut in summer 2024.<\/p>\n

Following its global triumph on Netflix<\/a> and various other streaming services, a second season was announced in November 2024.<\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> has now revealed the programme will return with another case later this year, adapted from Holly Jackson’s chart-topping follow-up novel, Good Girl, Bad Blood, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Myers naturally reprises her role as Pip, alongside an impressive ensemble cast featuring Zain Iqbal (Death, Whatever!), Asha Banks (My Fault: London), Yali Topol Margalith (The Tattooist of Auschwitz), Misia Butler (KAOS), Jude Morgan-Collie (Here We Go), Eden H Davies (Tell Me Everything) and Henry Ashton (My Lady Jane).<\/p>\n

A synopsis for season two states: “After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout \u2013 and stay away from any more investigations.<\/p>\n

“But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.<\/p>\n

“It’s all systems go as new pictures reveal Pip (Emma Myers) and her friends back on the pursuit.
