Sydney Sweeney<\/a> is adding designer to her r\u00e9sum\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The Emmy-nominated actress, 27, is \u201claunching a lingerie line very soon,\u201d a source tells Us Weekly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has been a huge project for her and something she\u2019s been working on for the last year,\u201d the insider shares.<\/p>\n

Sweeney has the financial support of her new billionaire pal Jeff Bezos<\/a> and his wife, Lauren S\u00e1nchez<\/a>, whom the source says \u201cinvested\u201d in the business venture. (Puck<\/a> reported on Wednesday, July 9, that Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue, is backing the Euphoria star\u2019s line. Coatue recently launched its Innovation Fund<\/a> with a $1 billion injection from the family offices of Bezos, 61, and fellow tycoon Michael Dell.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSydney Sweeney is no stranger to the red carpet. From sexy sheer dresses to waist-mincing designs, the Euphoria actress has no shortage of fabulous red carpet moments. One of the star\u2019s most buzzed-about red carpet fashion moments was from the 2021 People\u2019s Choice Awards, where she exuded Old Hollywood glamour. Sweeney donned a black velvet [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

The news could also explain why Sweeney attended Bezos\u2019 and\u00a0S\u00e1nchez\u2019s star-studded June 27 wedding in Venice, Italy<\/a>, as the White Lotus alum did not have any prior known connection to the couple.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly has reached out to Sweeney\u2019s and Bezos\u2019 reps as well as Schwerin for comment.<\/p>\n

While Sweeney is best known for her acting career (her most recent blockbuster films include Anyone But You\u00a0and Immaculate), she is simultaneously growing quite the business empire.<\/p>\n

Sweeney serves as a global ambassador for brands including HeyDude footwear, Bai beverages, Laneige skincare and K\u00e9rastase haircare. She has also released products with Frankies Bikinis and Dr. Squatch (notably her instantly iconic bathwater soap<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u201cI thrive in chaos,\u201d she joked to Empire magazine<\/a> in May. \u201cI love working. I love having to juggle multiple things at the same time. I don\u2019t really sleep much, but I do best when I don\u2019t sleep much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sweeney has said that she pushed herself to become one of the biggest stars of her generation after enduring a difficult childhood, which included her parents going bankrupt.<\/p>\n
