Swifties flooded the comments section, with some demanding immediate answers whilst others questioned whether Norton was permitted to share such information.<\/p>\n

Some followers interpreted the message differently, suggesting Norton simply meant Swift “has a date to her wedding as in a plus one… the groom.”<\/p>\n

Norton, who is married to Scottish filmmaker Jonathan McLeod, swiftly dismissed her hopes, replying: “Right, over my husband’s dead body.”<\/p>\n
The singer first indicated she would invite Norton when appearing on his programme last October to discuss her engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.<\/p>\n

“I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble,” she explained during her October appearance.<\/p>\n

“And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not going to do that,” she added.<\/p>\n
