Honor kicked off MWC 2026 by announcing its latest foldable \u2013 the Magic V6<\/a>. It\u2019s a milestone not just for Honor but for foldables in general, being the first to sport IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. And it\u2019s a proper flagship, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, triple cameras with a dedicated 3x optical zoom periscope and an upgraded 6,660mAh Si-C battery.<\/p>\n

From an engineering perspective, this is Honor\u2019s toughest foldable to date. It features a new Super Steel Hinge made of the strongest commercially available steel, and it\u2019s tested at up to 500,000 folds and unfolds at Honor\u2019s internal labs.<\/p>\n

Even with the upgraded durability, Magic V6 is still remarkably thin and light. It measures 8.75mm in its folded state, which is exactly as much as an iPhone 17 Pro Max<\/a>, while weighing less at 219 grams for the white color model. When unfolded, Magic V6 is only 4mm thin.<\/p>\n

Magic V6 gets a 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED with 2,172 x 2,352px resolution and a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. It features a reinforced ultra-thin glass (UTG) layer and a 44% reduction in the crease depth, which should make it less noticeable than prior generations. Honor also added a new anti-reflection layer for improved legibility. It\u2019s now rated at up to 5,000 nits peak local brightness.<\/p>\n

Magic V6 brings a 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED<\/p>\n

The cover screen comes in at 6.52 inches with the same LTPO 2.0 variable 1-120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and up to 6,000 nits peak local brightness. Both the cover and main display support stylus input and feature 20MP selfie cameras.<\/p>\n

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset inside the Magic V6 is joined by 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.<\/p>\n

Around the back, Honor is bringing a familiar triple camera setup with a 50MP main shooter featuring an f\/1.6 aperture and OIS. It is paired with a 70mm equivalent 64MP periscope telephoto lens (1\/2\u201d sensor) capable of 3x optical zoom. The third lens on the back is a 50MP ultrawide.<\/p>\n

On the software front, Magic V6 arrives with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, with Honor pledging 7 major Android upgrades. Honor is also bringing updated cross-platform capabilities with Apple devices. Honor Connect now supports two-way notification syncing between the Magic V6 and iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch devices.<\/p>\n
