A teenage harpist from Co Armagh brought the celebrity judges of Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> to their feet during Saturday night\u2019s edition of ITV\u2019s flagship show.<\/p>\n

Seventeen-year-old Niamh Noade said she was \u201cblown away\u201d by the response to her version of Alex Warren\u2019s song Ordinary.<\/p>\n

The Lislea performer appeared to visibly win over Simon Cowell, after the famously grumpy talent show judge closed his eyes and winced when she introduced her performance and described the harp as \u201creally unique\u201d.<\/p>\n

But the reaction changed when the talented teenager started singing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got an amazing voice,\u201d said a smiling Cowell afterwards. \u201cI mean some people are just born with great voices and you have that.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the version \u2013 I thought \u2013 of the song was sensational, I mean seriously sensational.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon was similarly impressed<\/p>\n

\u201cYour voice is really special and you\u2019re very unique,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not an act we see all the time. It was heavenly.\u201d<\/p>\n

YouTuber-turned talent show judge KSI, added: \u201cYou have an angelic instrument and an angelic voice. Combining that together was just perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda Holden said while she admires the harp as an instrument, she was \u201crelieved\u201d when Niamh Noade began singing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour whole presence, it was beautifully quietly confident,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou did a really lovely audition.\u201d<\/p>\n

All four judges gave the Co Armagh performer the thumbs-up to progress to the next stage of the ITV competition.<\/p>\n

In a social media post after the performance was aired, Niamh Noade said \u201cI am so blown away by the response from my audition on Britain\u2019s Got Talent!<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much guys it was such an amazing opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The teenager is no stranger to the spotlight. <\/p>\n

In 2023, aged just 14, she reached the final of ITV\u2019s The Voice Kids.<\/p>\n

Her performance of \u2018The Winner Takes It All\u2019 on the show amassed over 20 million views online.<\/p>\n

Ronan Keating, who coached her on the show, described Niamh as \u201ca Celtic song-bird\u201d, adding \u201cwhenever she starts to sing you cannot help but be brought in, you are drawn to it, it is magnificent\u201d.<\/p>\n

An all-Ireland singing champion in 2025, Niamh describes Irish folk and traditional music as \u201cmore than just a sound, it\u2019s a connection to the soul of Irish culture\u201d.<\/p>\n
