Nottingham Forest full-back Nicolo Savona <\/a>is facing a fight to feature again this season as he prepares to undergo surgery.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old has been absent for more than a month with a knee problem. His last appearance was back on January 22, when he started the Reds\u2019<\/a> Europa League defeat away to Braga.<\/p>\n Forest had allowed the issue to settle down before having it reassessed by a specialist. I think he will be out for a few more days,\u201d Pereira said ahead of<\/p>\n \u201cWe had a conversation with Sels and tried to explain we needed him in this moment, even though he needed more days to be fit and be in shape. But he is a leader and a person with strong character.
