Kaley Cuoco claimed Rose McGowan snubbed her on the set of \u201cCharmed\u201d 20 years ago.<\/p>\n
The \u201cBig Bang Theory\u201d alum, 40, detailed her \u201cterrifying\u201d experience joining the WB fantasy drama in 2005, and the not-so-warm welcome she received from McGowan, during a recent episode of Dax Shepard\u2019s \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cYou know when you do so many things and you just forget about terrible moments?\u201d Cuoco began. \u201cImagine this: I\u2019ve never met anyone. You\u2019ve got Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs. I\u2019ve never met them. Think about that. I\u2019m joining their family photo, and I\u2019m 21.\u201d<\/p>\n Although the cast\u2019s gallery shoot went off without a hitch, Cuoco said things got \u201cdicey\u201d once the co-stars took a break for lunch.<\/p>\n \u201cI walk in that gallery, and I am so freaking nervous,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt\u2019s on their lunch break. They\u2019re all in the corners, eating.\u201d<\/p>\n Cuoco discussed McGowan\u2019s snub during the Feb. 9 episode of Dax Shepard\u2019s \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d podcast. Alyssa Milano sees me, and \u2014 I will always tell this story about her \u2014 she got up, ran over to me and welcomed me to the show, gave me the biggest hug in the world, so happy, so kind. I will never forget that.\u201d<\/p>\n But McGowan, 52, was not nearly as thrilled to have Cuoco join the hit show, according to the \u201c8 Simple Rules\u201d alum.<\/p>\n \u201cRose [was] maybe not as happy. I don\u2019t know,\u201d Cuoco said. \u201cI still don\u2019t know if she likes me. I don\u2019t know. But Alyssa was amazing. I was terrified. It\u2019s a weird thing coming into a show with them in year eight, and I only did the one season.\u201d<\/p>\n A rep for McGowan did not respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n \u201cRose [was] maybe not as happy. Milano, 53, and Combs, 52, starred as magical sisters Phoebe and Piper Halliwell alongside Shannen Doherty\u2019s Prue Halliwell.<\/p>\n Doherty, however, abruptly left the series at the end of Season 3 in May 2001 following rumors of on-set problems with Milano<\/a>.<\/p>\n McGowan joined as Paige Matthews<\/a> for Season 4 to fill the void left by Doherty\u2019s departure. Doherty sadly passed away following a lengthy battle<\/a> with breast cancer in July 2024.
