The cast of Married At First Sight UK’s tenth season reunited for a fiery reunion episode last week<\/a>, but a number of its stars were notably absent.<\/p>\n Aired on Sunday night (March 1), the one-off special saw the group – nearly all of them now exes<\/a> – sit down for one final dinner party together. Just one couple from the series, Abigail Lindsay and John Shepherd<\/a>, remain an item today.<\/p>\n Among the missing stars was former groom Ashley Dommett and his ex-bride, Grace Law. The pair struggled to understand each other’s views and sense of humour on the show, leading to a series of rows and ultimately their separation.<\/p>\n The pair skipped taking part in home stays week – where the couples each spend time with the other’s friends and family – and failed to attend the final commitment ceremony. They were later brought back separately to offer their own points of view to the experts on what went wrong.<\/p>\n MAFS couple Ashley and Grace had a rough journey (Image: E4)<\/p>\n “Whenever I tried to speak about what was happening, I felt Ash was quick to deflect,” Grace revealed, referring to previous commitment ceremonies. “I lost my voice almost, I didn’t feel confident in what I was saying,” she continued.<\/p>\n On the other hand, Ashley alleged that Grace labelled him a “misogynistic, not great guy,” adding: “I felt like there’s not much more I can do here to get her to see who I am.”<\/p>\n Addressing his decision not to attend any of the reunion episodes, including the most recent, Ashley opened up to his followers in a lengthy video posted to Instagram<\/a> last night (March 3). He revealed that while things had initially been “civil” between he and Grace, he felt he had later been painted to be a “monster”.<\/p>\n “The first reunion isn’t long after the show, so after dealing with that I was like no, no way. And our story had ended there anyway so there was nothing to add. I genuinely only went on there to meet my person, didn’t. Didn’t see any benefits in doing the reunion,” he said.<\/p>\n The pair failed to see eye to eye(Image: Ellie Merridale\/Channel 4)<\/p>\n “The second reunion.. I don’t know if I should say this, but I’m going to anyway. Have I changed as a person? Is it because I’ve been on telly that I think I’m important, or was that reunion f*****g awful without me?<\/p>\n “But yeah, so with the way that everything had gone, my view on it was why on earth would I put myself back into that situation and I just wouldn’t. There was no way I was doing it. That’s basically it.”<\/p>\n His followers were quick to share their messages of support, including former MAFS UK star Hannah Norburn who commented: “Proud of you.” Meanwhile another show fan remarked: “I found the reunion stressful to watch, never mind being there!
