A West Belfast<\/a> shopkeeper has sold a winning scratchcard giving a lucky customer \u00a320,000 a month for the next five years.<\/p>\n Steven Harrison, owner of Nisa on Bellevue Street in the Shankill area<\/a>, is the first independent National Lottery retailer in Northern Ireland to scoop a prize in its ‘Share the Win initative’. The shopkeeper won a \u00a310,000 ‘gold tier’ award, for selling a top National Lottery Scratchcard to a lucky player at his store.<\/p>\n Steven becomes the first National Lottery retailer in Northern Ireland<\/a> to take home a prize in the new \u2018Share the Win\u2019 rewards incentive from Allwyn and is now the proud owner of his new \u2018Millionaire Made Here\u2019 plaque and display.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Belfast library drag storytelling event ‘should not have taken place’, Minister says<\/a>READ MORE: Ardoyne community get ready for week-long fun as annual festival returns<\/a><\/p>\n The scheme, which launched in November 2024, awards retailers who sell high tier (\u00a350,000 or more) winning National Lottery tickets \u2013 like EuroMillions, Lotto, and Thunderball, or National Lottery Scratchcards in their store.<\/p>\n Speaking about the win, Steven said it will help him go on a family holiday<\/a>. He said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to benefit from the win of one of our customers \u2013 it\u2019s really good for business! We provide a service for the local community and can now promote ourselves as lucky \u2013 which further increases footfall instore. Our winnings will also allow us to go on a family holiday to our favourite place, Tenerife.\u201d<\/p>\n Allwyn’s Director of Commercial Partnerships and Retail Sales, Alison Acquaye-Acford, said: \u201cMassive congratulations to Steven!
