This September, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will collide for a second time in a professional bout. Super-welterweight star Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis believes that the judges will not be required.<\/p>\n

After years of back-and-forth, Mayweather and Pacquiao finally squared off in 2015, where Mayweather scored a unanimous decision win \u2013 a legacy-defining moment in the career of one of boxing\u2019s pound-for-pound greats.<\/p>\n

The Michigan mastermind fought just twice more as a professional, but he has kept busy in a number of exhibition bouts. Pacquiao went on to fight until 2021, before his comeback against Mario Barrios last July.<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, in a surprising turn of events, Mayweather is set to end nine years of professional inactivity and return to the sport at the age of 49 years old, as he seeks to defeat \u2018Pac Man\u2019 for a second time in what will be his third outing of the 2026 calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to YSM Sports Media<\/a> ahead of the rematch, former unified welterweight ruler, Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis, revealed that he is predicting a stoppage win for Mayweather, who has not halted a recognised professional boxer since Victor Ortiz in 2011.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is older now, he ain\u2019t going to be too much moving. He is going to be sharp and he is going to make Pacquiao run into something, watch \u2026 [The KO] is a possibility, I ain\u2019t even gonna lie. I can see him catching Pacquiao.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mayweather-Pacquiao II is scheduled to take place at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 19, with the Netflix-streamed event expected to be one of the most viewed boxing cards in some time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This September, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will collide for a second time in a professional bout.
