<\/p>\n\n Savannah Guthrie \u201cplans to return\u201d to the \u201cToday\u201d show at some point, NBC said Thursday, in the network\u2019s first public comments about her future on the telecast.\n <\/p>\n
\n Guthrie\u2019s mother, Nancy, has been missing for 33 days, as the \u201cToday\u201d show noted in a brief news update about the case on Thursday morning.\n <\/p>\n
\n Guthrie spent several weeks in Tucson, Arizona, helping with the search, before recently returning to her home in New York.\n <\/p>\n
\n NBC said Thursday that she stopped by the \u201cToday\u201d show\u2019s iconic home, Studio 1A at Rockefeller Center, for the first time since her mother\u2019s apparent abduction.\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cSavannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her TODAY colleagues,\u201d NBC said. \u201cWhile she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cI have every intention of coming back,\u201d Guthrie told her colleagues during the visit, according to a source who was present. \u201cI don\u2019t know how to come back, but I don\u2019t know how not to. You\u2019re my family. And, I would like to try.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Guthrie thanked the \u201cToday\u201d show team for \u201ccaring about my mom as much as I do.\u201d She said, \u201cI wanted you to know that I\u2019m still standing, and I still have hope, and I\u2019m still me. And I don\u2019t know what version of me that will be, but it will be.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones talked about Guthrie\u2019s visit during the 10 a.m. hour of \u201cToday.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n Guthrie \u201chugged every single person in this room,\u201d Hager said. \u201cShe is beyond loved here.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cWhenever you are ready, we are here,\u201d Jones said, channeling what the co-hosts told Guthrie during the visit.\n <\/p>\n
