Opener You\u2019re Right, It\u2019s Time, with its declaration that \u201cI wanna speak up and not be trapped by censorship\u201d slides on a <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/books\/non-fiction\/the-drums-mike-joyce-review\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Smiths<\/a>-ish groove and wistful guitar. There\u2019s a sleazy, dangerous, electro-touched rhythm to the title track, which is actually the best thing on offer. What he\u2019s done with <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/concerts\/roxy-music-ovo-glasgow-hydro-review-bryan-ferry-roxy-music-still\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roxy Music<\/a>\u2019s Amazona is a curio, but at least interesting. Zoom Zoom the Little Boy, meanwhile, takes some of the album\u2019s more interesting music \u2013 slinking indie-pop with a side of 1960s psych \u2013 and tops it with lazy nursery rhyme-type couplets.<\/p>\n<p>The most devoted of devotees will get a kick out of this album, but even they will struggle to ignore its flaws, or how genuinely fed up \u2013 rather than his usual showboating \u2013 Morrissey sounds at times.
