{"id":462561,"date":"2026-03-07T12:40:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-07T12:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/462561\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T12:40:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T12:40:10","slug":"bradford-spots-in-new-peaky-blinders-netflix-movie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/462561\/","title":{"rendered":"Bradford spots in new Peaky Blinders Netflix movie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is a continuation of the British television series, which ran from 2013 to 2022, and stars Cillian Murphy, Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The film is set in Birmingham in 1940 amid the chaos of World War II.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>  Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man in cinemas<\/p>\n<p>\n  Tommy Shelby (Murphy) returns from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The film premiered at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on Friday and has been released in select cinemas including The Light in Bradford.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It is also scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 20.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>A screenshot from the trailer (Image: Netflix)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Filming for the new Peaky Blinders film was believed to have taken place in the Little Germany area of Bradford in late October and early November in 2024.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  At the time, a production team had descended on the area &#8211; causing intrigue among locals.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Telegraph &amp; Argus visited the scene at the time and saw what looked like wartime vehicles and old-fashioned cars, as well as stacks of sandbags and posters from the 1940s.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>It is believed some scenes in the new Peaky Blinders movie were filmed in Little Germany (Image: Newsquest)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A sign stating Birmingham Montague Barracks was also seen.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A letter, from Oblik Productions Ltd, was sent to residents and businesses in the Little Germany area.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  While it did not mention Peaky Blinders, the letter stated filming would take place from Wednesday, October 30, 2024, to Friday, November 1, 2024, between 6pm and 4am.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>It is believed some scenes in the new Peaky Blinders movie were filmed in Little Germany (Image: T&amp;A Camera Club \/ Mark David)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The letter also said: &#8220;To facilitate our shoot safely we will be implementing a temporary road closure in the area during the week beginning Monday, October 28, and ending Sunday, November 3.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;During our prep and filming hours, the area will be closed to the public, although pedestrian and vehicle access will be maintained for residents and businesses.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>This scene from the Peaky Blinders series was filmed outside City Hall in Bradford (Image: UGC)\n<\/p>\n<p>  Peaky Blinders series also filmed in Bradford<\/p>\n<p>\n  Steven Knight decided to bring the hit show to a close with season six &#8211;
