A woman has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged incident at a Metrolink<\/a> tram stop in Manchester. Keida Finlayson, 25, of Victoria Crescent, Manchester, is due to make a first court appearence in Manchester on Monday.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a>, in a statement issued on Sunday, said she’s been charged with a single count of attempted murder.<\/p>\n

A woman aged in her 30s was said by police to have suffered a laceration to her head.<\/p>\n

Police were called to the West Didsbury<\/a> tram stop off Lapwing Lane at about 11.45am on March 4.<\/p>\n

Finlayson has also been charged with assault which the force said related to a seperate alleged incident.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokespersaon said: “She has been remanded to police custody until an appearance at Manchester and Salford<\/a> Magistrates’ Court on Monday.”<\/p>\n

In the statement, the force said: “A woman has been charged following an incident at a tram station in West Didsbury. Keida Finlayson, 20, of Victoria Crescent, Manchester, has been charged with attempted murder, and an assault for an unrelated incident.<\/p>\n

“She has been remanded to police custody until an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates\u2019 on 09\/03\/2026.<\/p>\n
