She went an early break down, but did not lose her serve after that, winning 7-5 6-2 after one hour and 47 minutes. This was the Czech\u2019s first match since winning the title in Doha, and she has now won her last seven matches.<\/p>\n<p>She goes up against Antonia Ruzic next. The Croatian continued her strong run of form with a surprise win over Qinwen Zheng. The 2024 Olympic champion threatened at times but put in a largely subdued display, with Ruzic winning 6-4 7-5 after one hour and 54 minutes. Ruzic reached the last eight in Dubai last month.<\/p>\n<p>They played each other for the first time last year, with Muchova winning 7-5 7-5 at the Canadian Open.
