If you needed any indication of how the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> are viewing 2026, look no further than the trade for star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby.<\/p>\n

The Ravens parted ways with two first-round picks to get the deal done, which some think is a little pricey, but the franchise is clearly in win-now mode with Lamar Jackson, which also puts huge pressure on Jesse Minter and the rest of the team to deliver.<\/p>\n

But if you thought Crosby was just going to come to Baltimore and go through the motions, you’re mistaken.<\/p>\n

He’s ready to push this team to new heights.<\/p>\n

“Flock nation, everybody in the whole city of Baltimore, I’ve got a lot to learn,” Crosby said<\/a>. “Everything is going to be new to me and I’m excited and tackling this head on like I do everything else. Fans there, I’m not going to sit here and make a bunch of grand predictions or anything of that nature. I’m going there with one purpose and that’s to help this team to get to where it needs to be and that’s where everybody wants to go and that’s winning the Super Bowl.”<\/p>\n

Is Crosby enough for Ravens Super Bowl tilt?<\/p>\n

Well, it’s a start.<\/p>\n

The Ravens have to address Lamar’s contract situation in the coming days as free agency approaches, plus they must figure out what they are doing with Tyler Linderbaum’s contract as well.<\/p>\n

So, there are a few things the front office has to work through, and quickly, because the NFL waits for no one.<\/p>\n

The Crosby trade was a good start for the franchise, but more is needed.<\/p>\n

Yes, Maxx will help push the Super Bowl aspirations, but he can’t do it himself; he’ll need the franchise to be aggressive in free agency as well.<\/p>\n
