\n The space showcases the work of former architect John Imeson, whose work is inspired by the local surroundings and his friends and family.\n<\/p>\n
\n The work consists of a display of photographs of friends and family from a recent trip to Old Sarum and a collection of architectural drawings.\n<\/p>\n
\n Visitors are invited to view the artwork and take part in workshops to design and print t-shirts, using stencils of fabric painting.\n<\/p>\n
\n John Imeson said: “The photos are the subject of the whole exhibition – people are the subject.\n<\/p>\n
\n He added: “The message is to have people be creative and enjoy creativity and financially support artists who are struggling.”\n<\/p>\n

\n As a qualified architect and artist based in the city, John is passionate about the importance of creativity in encouraging tourism.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “This is part of the character of Salisbury – it’s vital. Stuff like the Art Trail need to be happening all year round. Galleries like this should be thriving and attracting tourists.\n<\/p>\n
\n He added: “The character of Salisbury is so unique. The message is to come and value the space, value having the galleries around and value the buildings and beautiful nature around them. I think it’s time that Salisbury has a bit of a revival.”\n<\/p>\n
