After failing to defend their Premier League<\/a> title, Liverpool<\/a> are eyeing\u00a0Champions League<\/a>\u00a0glory, and they will be hoping to start their knockout campaign strongly when they take on Galatasaray at RAMS Park<\/a>\u00a0in the first leg of their round of 16 tie on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot<\/a>‘s Reds bounced back from a 2-1 top-flight defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> by downing the Old Gold 3-1 in the FA Cup on Friday.<\/p>\n

Aside from the victory, the Merseysiders will be pleased to have Florian Wirtz<\/a> back in action after the German playmaker made a substitute appearance at Molineux, returning following three games on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

The Reds still have high hopes for the young defender, and he will be keen to make a strong impact next term when he can link up with new arrival Jeremy Jacquet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The striker began running on grass for the first time since December late last month, though he will not be ready to feature until April at the earliest as he steps up his rehab.<\/p>\n
