Scream 7<\/a> is still performing well at the box office, despite a big drop in its second weekend.<\/p>\n

The seventh installment in the Scream<\/a> franchise fell about 74% in its second weekend, but still landing in second place at the domestic box office.<\/p>\n

The Paramount slasher sequel earned around $17.3 million from 3,540 theaters across North America over the weekend, and has brought in about $93.3 million domestically, with a worldwide haul of $149.4 million, per Variety.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite mixed reviews, the movie continues to draw audiences and could become one of the highest-grossing entries in the franchise. The original Scream and Scream 2 earned $173 and $172 million worldwide, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
