\n While Burgess confirmed there was still one more middle-unit signing to be announced \u2013 believed to be Wigan Warriors\u2019 Liam Byrne \u2013 he hinted that could well be the end of their recruitment in that area of the field after he revealed Kerr had knocked back their advances.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe couldn\u2019t land Josh \u2013 he\u2019s staying over there,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe\u2019s a great player and obviously a big guy, but we\u2019re happy with what we\u2019ve recruited.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got Tevita coming in and Sipley, and one more to be announced.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Sipley\u2019s arrival on a two-year deal was confirmed on Monday and with Paul Vaughan departing the club to join York Knights at the end of the year, Burgess believes the 30-year-old will add plenty in his place.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe\u2019s a big body and has got great character,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe\u2019s an experienced player with more than 150 games across the NRL and New South Wales Cup.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe\u2019re losing a couple of guys through the middle so he\u2019ll add to our team in that respect.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe\u2019ll see when he gets here \u2013 with any guys coming in, there\u2019s always an adjustment culturally, to the conditions and style of play \u2013 but we\u2019re looking forward to getting him in.\n<\/p>\n
