(Photo by Sebastian Widmann\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-363820\" title=\"Arsenal open talks with RB Leipzig 23yo 3\"\/>Photo by Sebastian Widmann\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Lukeba came through the academy at Lyon before breaking into their first team and securing a move to Leipzig in 2023 for around \u20ac34m on a five-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Primarily a left-sided centre-back, Lukeba can also operate at left back or right centre-back, offering tactical flexibility for clubs that value defenders capable of covering multiple positions.<\/p>\n<p>He has already been capped six times by France, receiving his first senior call-up in 2023, an indication of the regard in which he is held.
