Jorge Martin is preparing for a full-time return to MotoGP after the summer break, following a successful outing at the Czech Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard has missed 10 of the 12 races held so far in 2025, due to multiple injuries suffered from various falls. It all began with a big crash at pre-season testing in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

Since then, Martin<\/a> has been through gruelling surgeries, further incidents and a concerning contract dispute for next year.<\/p>\n

However, he and Aprilia<\/a> have made up now, and all seems to be back to normal at the Noale-based manufacturer.<\/p>\n

Martin will be delighted with a \u2018perfect\u2019 Aprilia solution<\/a> after they fixed their bikes\u2019 woes off the line, ensuring they now have lightning fast starts.<\/p>\n

That didn\u2019t stop Martin from \u2018almost\u2019 crashing watching Marc Marquez<\/a>, as he tried to emulate the championship leaders\u2019 lines on track.<\/p>\n

Two important factors caught Martin by surprise<\/a> as he made his MotoGP return at the Czech Grand Prix in Brno. It was the first race held there in five years, which did level the playground a bit.<\/p>\n

However, he admitted after the race that his heart rate had rested a little higher than usual, and that there was still work to do on his fitness.<\/p>\n

And during the summer break, that\u2019s exactly what he has been doing. According to SPEEDWEEK<\/a>, Martin has just tackled the \u2018toughest\u2019 mountain race over in Andorra.<\/p>\n

After a near six-hour ride, he made the finish without suffering any injuries, and successfully completed another step on his road to recovery.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the event in a post on his Instagram, the 27-year-old shared a short message for his fans: \u201cPurito finished! Thanks puritocycling for this event as always!\u201d<\/p>\n

Some replied to him, offering words of encouragement for his progress. \u201cLet\u2019s go my biker,\u201d said one fan, while another agreed \u201cHow tough you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why 2025 has been a strange anomaly for Jorge Martin on a motorcycle<\/p>\n

Since he started racing in Moto3 back in 2015, Martin\u2019s injury record hasn\u2019t been immaculate, but it has been strong.<\/p>\n

Before 2025, only once had he missed more than two races in a season. In 2021, just two races into his rookie campaign, he suffered a monster crash which forced him to miss four races.<\/p>\n

He recovered to take his first win just four races after returning and went without an injury right up until the start of this year.<\/p>\n

The timing couldn\u2019t have been much more frustrating after joining a new team. He was desperate to get to work, but was denied the chance almost immediately.
