A WWE star has announced that he has \u201cquit\u201d the company during tonight\u2019s March 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.<\/p>\n
UPDATE \u2013 Drew McIntyre returned to SmackDown later in the show to cost Jacob Fatu his match against Trick Williams. McIntyre will face Fatu in a match next week.<\/p>\n
There has been a big development tonight following what was a major story coming out of last week\u2019s SmackDown show.<\/p>\n
Last week, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to become the Undisputed WWE Champion and head into WrestleMania 42 with the title.<\/p>\n
Rhodes\u2019 win means he will defend the championship against Randy Orton<\/a> at WrestleMania, changing the originally announced match of McIntyre vs Orton after Orton\u2019s Elimination Chamber win.<\/p>\n During SmackDown tonight, Drew McIntyre opened the show in a segment with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.<\/p>\n Confronting Aldis about the decision to force him to defend his title last week, as well as venting his frustrations with Jacob Fatu for costing him the match, McIntyre announced that he had quit WWE.<\/p>\n McIntyre simply said that Aldis, Fatu and the fans don\u2019t deserve him or any response from him for what\u2019s been inflicted upon him recently, and therefore he\u2019s quitting the company \u2013 before he walked away and left through the crowd.<\/p>\n What Drew McIntyre Said After Quitting WWE<\/p>\n WWE released a video on social media with new comments from Drew McIntyre as he was leaving the arena on SmackDown after the announcement that he quit the company.<\/p>\n He said:<\/p>\n \u201cYou give and you give and you give, you bleed \u2013 if I fought Jacob right there, the only person that wins is them (the fans). They take, they take, they take. We give, we give, we give. I\u2019m giving no more.
