Images of the planets have gotten better and better as the years have gone on, and camera technology has progressed.<\/p>\n

Uranus looks desolate in the new images<\/p>\n

At the other end of the scale is Uranus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The seventh planet from the Sun, this ice giant is mostly made up of water, ammonia, and methane.<\/p>\n

NASA\u2019s new images show the planet as a giant, blue ball, looking completely devoid of anything.<\/p>\n

Incredibly, Uranus has only been visited once, in 1986, when Voyager 2 flew by it.<\/p>\n

Compared to Uranus, Mercury and Venus<\/a> look full of both life and color.<\/p>\n

Venus too looks beautiful, as if it were a multi-colored marble.<\/p>\n

The planet is the second from the Sun, and is often called Earth\u2019s \u2018twin\u2019 or \u2018sister.\u2019<\/p>\n
