Amid the constant drama that happens in EastEnders<\/a>, there\u2019s one resident who brings a great deal of light to counteract the dark stories happening in Albert Square: Oscar Branning<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pierre Counihan-Moullier<\/a> joined the cast of the BBC One<\/a> soap in July of last year. It was the first time we had seen a slightly older version of Oscar, as the character had been living away from Walford ever since he was a child.<\/p>\n

Oscar is chaotic and doesn\u2019t really know what he wants in his life, but that\u2019s perhaps what makes him so enjoyable to watch. The bumbling around, never being afraid to speak his mind, and constantly causing problems for the likes of Lauren Branning<\/a> (Jacqueline Jossa<\/a>) and Max Branning<\/a> (Jake Wood<\/a>) has made Oscar Branning \u2013 according to some fans of the show \u2013 the best addition in years.<\/p>\n

What made audience members laugh a lot this week was Oscar Branning enjoying witnessing Mark Fowler Jnr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) go for a run.<\/p>\n

Pierre\u2019s comedic timing was perfect once more, and it\u2019s been clipped up and shared online ever since.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media<\/a> platform X, Beth wrote: \u2018Pierre has been such a excellent addition to the show please let\u2019s keep oscar branning for as long as possible he\u2019s genuinely such a highlight of every episode #Eastenders\u2019.<\/p>\n

Also expressing their love for Pierre\u2019s brilliant talent, Ryan said: \u2018It\u2019s the little things Pierre does that make me love Oscar even more #EastEnders\u2019.<\/p>\n

Things are about to get even more hectic for Oscar as he gets himself a new love interest, who also happens to be the brother of his previous lover Jasmine Fisher<\/a> (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Next week sees the arrival of Jasmine\u2019s twin,\u00a0Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) and his adoptive mum, Sandra (Dawn Steele)<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Sandra asking questions about Jasmine arouses the interest of Kim and Denise Fox\u00a0(Tameka Empson\u00a0and\u00a0Diane Parish), who, learning of Josh\u2019s identity, endeavour to unite him with his grandad,\u00a0Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker).<\/p>\n

While they\u2019re initially scuppered by Josh\u2019s unwillingness to see his birth mum, eventually, he agrees to meet the Trueman family at large. When delivering the news to Denise and Kim, he and Oscar lock eyes.<\/p>\n
