Distraught customers have been left out of pocket after a kitchen company went bust with debts of around \u00a32million. Parlour Farm Kitchens Limited, a kitchen manufacturer and installer based in Cirencester, collapsed into liquidation<\/a> and appointed a voluntary liquidator on February 9.<\/p>\n

To add fuel to the fire, it appears the directors reappeared under a phoenix company, which allows a failed business to rebrand and absolve any previous debt<\/a> while retaining stock and staff. The collapsed company owed \u00a32,050,415 in bills, including more than \u00a3150,000 to employees, according to financial documents filed on Companies House.<\/p>\n

Some \u00a381,858 was owed in redundancy pay, \u00a362,147 in notice pay and \u00a37,709 wage arrears. The liquidated company also owed nearly \u00a3300,000 to HM Revenue and Customs<\/a>, according to financial documents filed on Companies House.<\/p>\n

One customer told The Standard she had been left nearly \u00a320,000 out of pocket from the collapse. A second told Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard<\/a> she was due \u00a319,000 for an unfulfilled delivery.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI later spoke to a solicitor and they said because the company is liquidated<\/a>, this case will have no legs.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of collapse, three directors were at the helm of the company, run by Dino Mussell, Christine Mussell and Austen Rowley, according to Companies House.<\/p>\n

On November 7, 2025, the directors reappeared under a phoenix company named Parlour Farm Kitchens & Cabinet Makers Ltd. Mr Rowley has since resigned from this, while the other two remain active.<\/p>\n

They had been self-described online as a \u201cdesigner and manufacturer of beautiful, truly bespoke kitchens\u201d.<\/p>\n

Located on the Love Lane Industrial Estate, it had been active for more than 20 years. It was incorporated in 2001 under a different name, The Antique Pine Dealer Limited. In 2004, it switched to Parlour Farm Kitchens Limited.<\/p>\n
