A pharmaceuticals specialist from Kent has become the latest candidate to be fired from The Apprentice.<\/p>\n
Rajan Gill, from Rainham, was dismissed during the seventh task of the BBC programme after his team lost a challenge to create and pitch a virtual-reality fitness game to investors.<\/p>\n

The losing team secured \u00a3150,000 less in investments than their rivals and returned to the boardroom to face Lord Sugar\u2019s scrutiny.<\/p>\n
Project manager Lawrence Rosenberg chose to bring Rajan and fellow contestant Levi Hague back with him, leaving the trio fighting to stay in the process.<\/p>\n
Despite criticism of the project manager\u2019s decisions, Lord Sugar ultimately decided Rajan had not contributed enough during the task and ended his journey in the competition.<\/p>\n
After his exit aired, Rajan admitted he was disappointed.<\/p>\n
\u201cDefinitely gutted to be leaving,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like the wrong decision was made today, especially after that slimy call by Lawrence to bring Levi in.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut Lord Sugar\u2019s say is final, and you do have to respect that.\u201d<\/p>\n
When explaining his decision, Lord Sugar told Rajan he \u201chadn\u2019t seen much\u201d of him during his time in the process.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cI\u2019m reflecting back on the last seven weeks and I have a gut feeling, which may not be fair, that Rajan you\u2019re fired.\u201d<\/p>\n
The businessman had entered the show hoping to secure a \u00a3250,000 investment<\/a> and business partnership with Lord Sugar.<\/p>\n
