Now a new twist has emerged: a transfer between the same two teams, for a French rider but involving a different name entirely.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lequipe.fr\/Cyclisme-sur-route\/Actualites\/Coequipier-de-tadej-pogacar-pavel-sivakov-vers-decathlon-cma-cgm\/1659463\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.lequipe.fr\/Cyclisme-sur-route\/Actualites\/Coequipier-de-tadej-pogacar-pavel-sivakov-vers-decathlon-cma-cgm\/1659463\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">L&#8217;Equipe<\/a>, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/pavel-sivakov\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/pavel-sivakov\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/pavel-sivakov\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pavel Sivakov<\/a> will move from UAE to Decathlon on a three-year contract from 2027. The signing appears designed to send a message to Seixas, whose contract expires in 2027, that Decathlon are building something worth staying for, even as UAE and reportedly Ineos Grenadiers circle the 19-year-old rising star.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"3f3f3bbe-9e5c-444b-907c-a59284f6acf5-2\">Sivakov has had an interesting career arc, going from a young super talent winning the under-23 Giro d&#8217;Italia, the Ronde de l&#8217;Isard and the Giro della Valle d\u2019Aosta in 2017, to that of a super domestique for Tadej Poga\u010dar at UAE starting in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Article continues below <\/p>\n<p>            You may like<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2025, Sivakov shared with Cyclingnews that <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/features\/its-all-part-of-my-career-path-pavel-sivakovs-difficult-journey-from-a-super-talent-to-super-domestique\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/features\/its-all-part-of-my-career-path-pavel-sivakovs-difficult-journey-from-a-super-talent-to-super-domestique\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/features\/its-all-part-of-my-career-path-pavel-sivakovs-difficult-journey-from-a-super-talent-to-super-domestique\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he still had ambitions<\/a> and is \u201ctrying to find a good balance, avoid the mistakes and so be there all year and perform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Sivakov and Seixas have history together: they rode alongside each other as part of the French team at last year&#8217;s UEC Road European Championships and the UCI Road World Championships in Rwanda, where Seixas finished 13th as the top-placed Frenchman.<\/p>\n<p>Also reportedly on Decathlon&#8217;s radar is <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jordan-jegat\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jordan-jegat\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jordan-jegat\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Jegat<\/a>, another member of that French squad in Rwanda. His TotalEnergies contract expires this year, and a tenth-place finish at the 2025 Tour de France makes him an interesting prospect as a mountain domestique for Seixas.
