It\u2019s shaping up to be a historic year for Japanese publisher Capcom, with both Resident Evil Requiem<\/a> and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection<\/a> attracting outstanding reviews.<\/p>\n

Next up is Pragmata<\/a>, which based on what we\u2019ve played is going to be among the best shooters of the year. And then, of course, there\u2019s Onimusha: Way of the Sword<\/a>, which is also due out in 2026.<\/p>\n

We saw more gameplay of this impending all-timer during last week\u2019s Capcom Showcase<\/a>, but there\u2019s still no word on a firm release date.<\/p>\n

The publisher has heard your concerns, and is insisting there\u2019s nothing to worry about.<\/p>\n

The game is still very much in the final stages of development:<\/p>\n

So it sounds like the next time Capcom shows the game, it\u2019ll come with a release date attached.<\/p>\n

We imagine this will be announced at some point in the summer, ahead of an autumn release date.<\/p>\n

Obviously, the release of GTA 6<\/a> in November has everyone running scared, so it\u2019ll be interesting to see when this slots in.<\/p>\n

Our guess? August. But when do you think it will drop?<\/p>\n
