Prince William unveils never-before-seen photo with Diana for Mother’s Day

Prince William seemed to have found himself digging through the archives as he marked Mothering Sunday this year with an emotional tribute for his beloved mother, Princess Diana.

The Prince of Wales took to his social to share a rare photo from his private collection, which is understood to never have been made public.

Surrounded in a field of flowers, the vintage image shows a two-year-old William with his late mum, dressed in a bright pink blouse and jeans, sharing a sweet moment.

“Remembering my mother, today and every day,” William penned alongside the heartwarming photo. “Thinking of all those who are remembering someone they love today. Happy Mother’s Day.”

The message was signed off by the unmistakeable “W,” signifying that the Prince of Wales himself had indeed written the message.

Prince William and Prince Harry both shared a strong connection to their mother and Diana’s influence still reflects in the princes’ actions today.

For both Harry and William, Diana has inspired charitable initiatives. Harry had started Sentebale (which he has now left due to ‘boardroom battles’) while William spearheads Homewards, based on the values Diana had inculcated in them.

Even though William has spoken about Diana plenty of times in the past, this particular post feels rather unexpected and a bit more vulnerable for the royal.

William had admitted of not being in a ‘calm state’ as the royal family faces one of its biggest crisis, so it is possible that the future king may have missing his mother a little more than usual.

Prince William unveils never-before-seen photo with Diana for Mother’s Day Prince William seemed to have found himself digging…

[32
6491,96,56,54,55
post-476860","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-celebrities","tag-celebrities","tag-entertainment","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
