Remco Evenepoel joins Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe<\/p>\n

Remco Evenepoel will ride for Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe from 2026, departing Soudal-QuickStep, with whom he turned professional, after seven seasons and a maiden Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a title with the squad.<\/p>\n

Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot wins Tour de France Femmes<\/p>\n

Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot completed her impressive return to the road after a six-year hiatus with a commanding overall victory at the Tour de France Femmes. The Frenchwoman hadn\u2019t raced since abandoning La Vuelta Femenina but altitude training clearly did the trick.<\/p>\n

She came to life on the final two mountain days, claiming back-to-back stage victories, dropping all her rivals to solo to the line. Demi Vollering finished second overall, 3min 42sec down, and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney completed the podium, 4min 09sec back.<\/p>\n

Three Great Britain track cyclists aiming to break world records<\/p>\n

Matt Richardson, Charlie Tanfield and Will Bjergfelt are all attempting to break world records on 14th August at the Konya velodrome in T\u00fcrkiye. Richardson is aiming to be the first cyclist to go under the sub-nine second barrier in the flying 200m, looking to break Harrie Lavreysen\u2019s world record time of 9.088sec in the process.<\/p>\n

Both Tanfield and Bjergfelt will be taking on the Hour Record. Tanfield is aiming to improve on the 56.792km set by Italy\u2019s Filippo Ganna in the men\u2019s elite Hour record while Bjergfelt taking on the C5 Hour record that has stood for over a decade.<\/p>\n

Enric Mas’s season is over<\/p>\n

\"\"Unipublic\/Cxcling\/Jose Carlos Diaz<\/p>\n

Movistar\u2019s Enric Mas withdrew from the Tour de France on Stage 18 and has been diagnosed with thrombophlebitis in his left leg, which causes a blood clot to form and block one or more veins.<\/p>\n

To ensure a complete recovery with no intense physical activity, Mas will miss the remainder of the season. There will be no repeat Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a podium for him after having notched up three second places and one third place in seven years.<\/p>\n

Dylan Groenewegen signs for Unibet Tietema Rockets<\/p>\n

Dylan Groenewegen has signed a two-year contract for Unibet Tietema Rockets<\/a> alongside leadout man Elmar Reinders. The squad owned and run by YouTuber Bas Tietema<\/a> upgraded from Continental to ProTeam status last season and switched to a French license to try to improve their chances at getting a wild card spot at the Tour de France.<\/p>\n

Groenewegen last won at the Tour of Slovenia where he claimed two stages but couldn\u2019t leave his mark at the Tour de France. His best result was 13th place on Stage 3.<\/p>\n
