Rasmus Hojlund scored in his latest Napoli display after reports that a permanent Manchester United exit is on the cards.<\/p>\n

When Manchester United completed the loan deal for Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> to join Napoli last summer, it was made public that there is a \u00a338m buy clause<\/a> attached to the deal.<\/p>\n

The buy clause becomes obligatory if Napoli qualify for the Champions League<\/a> this season. With nine games remaining in Serie A, Napoli are comfortably third in the table and among the favourites to qualify.<\/p>\n

Hojlund has been in great form for Napoli<\/a> of late and manager Antonio Conte has not been shy about his desire to sign the Danish striker permanently.<\/p>\n

Napoli came from behind to beat Lecce 2-1 in Serie A on Saturday afternoon, and Hojlund scored to draw his side level in the second half.<\/p>\n

Former United midfielder Scott McTominay came off the bench to help inspire the comeback, and it all started with Hojlund\u2019s goal in the 46th minute.<\/p>\n

Italian outlet Pianeta Napoli<\/a> gave Hojlund a 6.5 rating for his performance, adding: \u201cHe fades a bit and fails to provide the necessary contribution to hurt Falcone. In the second half, he immediately opens the scoring, scoring like a true striker.\u201d<\/p>\n

EuroSport Italy<\/a> also gave Hojlund a 6.5 rating, but compared him to the legendary Diego Maradona.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe scores, once again, flexing his muscles like a Maradona. It\u2019s his tenth league goal, his fourteenth of the season: respectable numbers,\u201d they wrote.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano confirms Rasmus Hojlund move<\/p>\n

On Instagram<\/a>, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Hojlund is set to join Napoli permanently.<\/p>\n

The Italian outfit will activate the \u00a338m buy clause in his contract, making the move permanent in the upcoming summer window.<\/p>\n

In total, United will bank \u00a343m from Hojlund\u2019s exit as Napoli also paid a loan fee for his services this season.<\/p>\n

United paid \u00a364m for Hojlund<\/a>, so it will still be recorded as a loss, but Ineos will be glad to cash in on the Danish striker.<\/p>\n

Inside Old Trafford, chiefs are confident that Benjamin Sesko is an upgrade on Hojlund<\/a> regardless.<\/p>\n
