\n\tJohn Krasinski<\/a> is back as Jack Ryan<\/a> after his Prime Video action series ended after four seasons back in 2023. Now, the CIA analyst turned deputy director is back in a sequel movie, titled \u201cJack Ryan: Ghost War.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe movie brings back several of the \u201cJack Ryan\u201d TV stars, including Wendell Pierce\u00a0as James Greer, the deputy director of the CIA; Michael Kelly\u00a0as Mike November, a former CIA station chief turned a private security contractor; and Betty Gabriel\u00a0as Elizabeth Wright, the CIA director. The cast also includes Sienna Miller, Mckenna Bridger, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge and JJ Feild.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGhost War\u201d is the sixth film in the \u201cJack Ryan\u201d franchise, based on the fictional character from prolific author Tom Clancy. Alec Baldwin first played Jack Ryan in 1990\u2019s \u201cThe Hunt for Red October,\u201d followed by a pair of Harrison Ford performances in 1992\u2019s \u201cPatriot Games\u201d and 1994\u2019s \u201cClear and Present Danger.\u201d Ben Affleck then took on the famous role in 2002\u2019s \u201cThe Sum of All Fears,\u201d and Chris Pine starred in the 2014 reboot \u201cJack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.\u201d Krasinski then brought the franchise to streaming with his series in 2019.<\/p>\n

\n\tAndrew Bernstein, who\u2019s directed episodes of \u201cHouse,\u201d \u201cMad Men,\u201d \u201cThe Americans,\u201d \u201cOzark\u201d and more, helms \u201cGhost War.\u201d It\u2019s written by Aaron Rabin and Krasinski, based on a story by Krasinski and\u00a0Noah Oppenheim. The film is produced by\u00a0Paramount Pictures,\u00a0Skydance Media, Genre Arts, Push Boot and\u00a0Sunday Night Productions\u00a0and is distributed by\u00a0Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n
